Our tutors must first meet our academic standards in the application process, then undergo a series of interviews and a full background check before being selected as a member of our team. Interested in becoming a tutor? Contact us for an application!

Tutoring Tiers

• Top Tier Tutors
  • Experienced tutors with high recommendations and excellent skills in their areas
  • Many Top Tier Tutors are also experienced with Learning Differences
• Honors Level Tutors
  • Our elite level, most experienced tutors – Tutors can only be chosen for Honors Level status by proven score increases, numerous client recommendations, and subject specialty
• Tutoring with Founder available on request and depending on availability

All tutors must meet the following minimum requirements (most exceed these):

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from 4-year University program with a Bachelor’s degree
• Maintain or graduate with minimum GPA of 3.5
• SAT Prep Instructors: 1300 on early/redesigned SAT scale, 2000 on old scale
• In-person tutors must provide Live Scan fingerprint/background check
• Previous tutoring experience

In addition, each tutor must undergo a series of interviews to assess their abilities to explain difficult concepts and establish their personality and teaching style. Tutors also may be asked to take practice tests in the subject areas in which they want to teach to determine their knowledge those areas.
